Systematically verify permissions, inputs and display settings before the exam begins.

The day before the exam

Check the browser and version supported by the exam platform. Test camera and microphone permissions and do not leave an operating-system update until exam time. Prepare the laptop charger and a backup internet option. Check the cable or battery of any external keyboard or mouse.

  • Test camera, microphone and keyboard in one flow.
  • Pause notifications and automatic updates during the exam.
  • Open the exam link and identity requirements in advance.

Immediately before the exam

Close unnecessary applications and keep the browser tab in the foreground. Make sure your face is clear, the background is suitable and the light comes from the front. Confirm that microphone level moves. In the keyboard test, try letters, numbers and the delete key.
